Internship Coordinator for the Employment Unit

Do you want to help create pathways to work and studies for people who are outside the labor market? We are now looking for an engaged and structured internship coordinator for our employment unit due to new activity requirements and an increased need for internship placements and individualized measures.

Job Responsibilities

As an internship coordinator, you work with matching participants to suitable internship placements and activities that strengthen their opportunities for self-sufficiency. The role involves close collaboration with employers, internal operations, and other authorities.

You will work both strategically and operationally to ensure that participants are offered meaningful activities based on current regulations and individual needs.

• Collaborate with the Employment Unit, the Swedish Public Employment Service, Social Services, etc.
• Seek, establish, and follow up on internship placements
• Collaborate with employers, associations, municipal operations, and other actors
• Ensure that activities meet current activity requirements
• Document and follow up on participants' progress
• Motivate and coach participants towards work or studies
• Participate in the development of employment measures within the unit

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education in fields such as behavioral science, social work, labor market, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
• Experience with labor market issues, internship acquisition, or coaching work
• Good ability to create and maintain employer contacts
• Knowledge of current activity requirements and labor market political measures is an advantage
• Good administrative skills and experience with documentation

Employment type: Permanent position.
